This is a Wonderful Vintage Style Silver Opal Swallow Necklace. A Silver Swallow set with Opal Stones swooping around a bar with a Clover like flower at either end.
Swallows are known to mate for life and said to always return home to the nest, making them a powerful symbol of everlasting love, joy and faithfulness. They were especially popular in the Victorian era and gifted as romantic tokens by lovers during long periods of separation.
